We bought a small salad master set of pans from our daughter. We wanted to help her meet her quota by buying a set of pans.

As she began to sell pans to her friends and family, she slowly began to learn the rules. The rules were never explained to her in the beginning. She found out later that she had to fix three dinners a week. Later she found out that she had to sell the same set of pans that she bought in the beginning at the end of selling her quota of pans.

That became almost impossible as she bought the most expensive set of pans for a huge amount of money. She became discouraged with the rules. She felt bad about making friends and family buy these sets of pans for such a large amount of money. Now she is supposed pay for her set of pans, even though she sold quite a few sets of pans to her friends and family.

She now must buy her set of pans for 22% interest, which is a ridiculous percentage.

I think salad master is a scam.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $2500.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Too expensive and poor customer service.

Saladmaster does not finance cookwear. Also as a representative she was self employed so there is no sales quota.

2500.. US not the most expensive but the cheapest.

Sorry but all your facts you state are incorrect.

I attended a demo yesterday. They do finance cookwear at 21.99%.

I forgot the name of the preferred finance company they used though. The sales rep even went through pricing for each of the sets and broke it down for what it would cost monthly if we decided to use the financing


My mother has been working for saladmaster for 2 years now. There shouldn't be ANY quotas..... Check with the office your daughter signed up with.


Don't buy what you can't afford. Always count the cost before you jump into something.

You should have educated her about finances and she may have not gotten in over her head. For some people their eyes are bigger than their wallet.
